An exhaust fan is being installed in the Produce Department to help keep the area cooler.
The Board has established a new Department that will allow member owners to access Co-op news via the internet. Dave Densley is the new Website Manager Department Head, and he has been hard at work to e-mail Co-op newsletter information to member owners who have registered their e-mail address. The newsletter contains Co-op news, and sale items each month. You can sign up to receive this monthly e-mail at www.bakerfoodcoop.org or in person at the Co-op. Dave is also updating the Co-op website. You can also receive news and announcements on our Facebook Page. Please help spread the word, and tell others about these important communication tools.
Please mark your calendars now for the July Member Owner Potluck Picnic that will be held at the Geiser Pollman City Park, Thursday, July 21 at 6 pm. This is an annual event that provides a lot of good food and great fellowship. It’s an excellent way for ALL member owners to “touch base” with what’s happening at the Co-op, and it provides an opportunity to participate in a quarterly business meeting and share your ideas. Drinks and table service will be furnished, so bring your favorite “culinary creation” and come join the fun. See you at the park!!
Board Meetings are held at the Co-op on the third Monday of each month at 6 pm. The meetings are open to all member owners, and the minutes of each meeting are posted on the bulletin board that is located by the coffee maker. It benefits each member owner and the Co-op if everyone is diligent to stay informed.
